Tahiti 2005

  • In February, 2005 a scientific party departed from Papetee, Tahiti to sail into the roaring forties and fearsome fifties to hunt for 55 million year old sediment. These are my favourite pictures of more than 300 taken documenting this adventure.

My one monthday

Bonnet.....I am now one month old and I am doing so many different things now. I went to my first yarn sale and met Ben (unfortunately he is into older women). Bens mom made me a lovely pink bonnet out of Rowan Kid Classic...she has class! (it's a bit big right now....but next month!) I'm now cooing. Last night I cooed in the bath to let mum know I was about to poop.. she still seemed surprised. I felt much better after that and slept for 6 hours! This morning I cooed to let Mum know I was about to start hiccuping. My head has grown and I can no longer fit my little yellow hat and I'm onto wearing my pink bonnet my kuia (grandma) made. So as you can see I'm very busy growing up!

Love Adelaide

P.S. This is what my brother looked like on his one monthday.

She is so beautiful!

Adelaide looks adorable in her little pink hat, so cute. I had to laugh about the poop in the bath too, I do remember those times too.
